We offer a full suite of library preparation services for all Illumina platforms, quality control services, library-preparation training, and sequencing services.

We specialize in sequencing in high-throughput CRISPR screens (adapted to HiSeq and NextSeq platforms), high-throughput phage display screens, and custom-prepared libraries. We specialize in development and testing of new library preparation and sequencing protocols.

We offer our facility and our expertise for academic outreach purposes. Reach out to us if you are teaching a relevant course at UofT or a local college – we would be happy to accommodate your teaching needs!

Currently, in operation are the Illumina HiSeq2500, NextSeq500, and MiSeq platforms. We expect delivery of the Illumina NovaSeq6000 system by early December 2017.

If you are unsure which sequencing platform is right for your application, please visit Illumina’s sequencing platform comparison tool. This tool will help you compare next-generation sequencing systems and find the one that’s right for you.

Here is a summary of key applications by platform.

Each project is unique – to determine the coverage needed to achieve the desired data output for your specific experiment use this calculator. This calculator helps determine platform and run details that are needed to arrive at the desired coverage for your experiment.

Still unsure about platform, run and experimental details, please contact us. We are here to help!
